We are seeking a Social Media Content Creator to assist in the development and execution of all our social media content. In this newly created role, and under the direction and guidance of the Social Media Manager, we are looking for a creative storyteller to create engaging content and drive awareness of our strategic objectives - the principles and benefits of a circular economy.
In collaboration with the broader team and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will produce captivating content to drive audience engagement, growth and brand awareness across our various social media channels for both organic and paid social media campaigns.
Specific role responsibilities include:
Creation of high quality, engaging video and photographic social media campaigns, both paid and organic, including copywriting and proofreading, adapting to the needs of specific targeted audiences and platforms.
Manage the most efficient way to develop creative ideas for social media content, whether using in-house resources or externally.
Monitor social media trends and actively find ways to use these to extend audience reach.
Lead content discussions with external agency to adapt content as necessary for use on different social media channels.
Attend events to capture content for use across social media channels including editing and live posting or streaming.
Use of performance data to make informed decisions in relation to improvements to content creation.
4+ years relevant experience in a content creation and copywriting for social media role.
A relevant qualification in a related field such as Marketing, Communications or Digital Marketing is desirable.
Experience shooting and editing high quality content using a smartphone.
Experience of design software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign or Canva), G-Suite and Microsoft Suite.
Demonstrated ability in:
Producing highly performing social media content.
Creative thinking and approach to problem solving; with the ability to bring new ideas to the table and action upon them.
Strong communication both written and oral, including exceptional written English.
Understanding of social media performance data.
Managing projects from start to finish.
Experience working across teams in a highly collaborative environment and with external agencies is desirable.
A passion for sustainability and the circular economy.

Closing date: 12th December 2022
Salary and benefits: £30,000 per annum, plus generous holiday allowance (25 days plus UK bank holidays and discretionary extra days leave) generous parental leave; enhanced pension options/private health scheme after 6 months; wellbeing programme.
Location: Based in our Cowes, Isle of Wight office.
Relocation support: We offer support with relocation from overseas, such as: helping to source accommodation, travel expenses to the UK (dependent on circumstances and eligibility). Many colleagues will have faced the same challenges as you (including relocating pets!) and we will be happy to assist you in this transition.
