We are looking for a proactive and detailed orientated Research Analyst who can support our Project Manager in conducting exploratory research across multiple projects and synthesising information to inform the next steps. This is an exciting opportunity to work in collaboration with some of the world’s most recognised brands and industry leaders within the Foundation’s network of organisations.
This role is based in our Fashion team. We develop and promote the idea of a circular economy for Fashion, engage and inspire key actors in the system, and mobilise systems solutions at scale to create a thriving, nature-positive fashion industry. Our most recent work includes the Circular Design for Fashion book, the thought leadership piece “Rethinking business models for a thriving fashion industry”, and,The Jeans Redesign project.
Your role will include supporting our Fashion team’s Project Manager to deliver key milestones within our global portfolio of projects. Your organisational skills and logical approach will enable you to work across multiple projects within the Fashion team to meet project milestones. Your strong analytical focus and ability to process quantitative and qualitative information will support the development of forward-looking fashion industry insights. Your ability to synthesise information and start to identify key insights will support the Project Manager in highlighting opportunities for businesses, creatives and policymakers to take bold action. Your interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to contribute to relationship management of key stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities: Reporting to our Fashion Project Manager your role will be focused on the following areas:
Research and analysis: Answer research questions with support from the Project Manager, including carrying out desk-based research (e.g. data collection, basic modelling and literature reviews). Analyse and summarise the information that has been gathered and accurately assess the validity of research data.
Support insight development: Support the Project Manager in conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating working groups to contribute to developing the Fashion team’s expertise. Contribute to problem-solving in meetings and workshops. Support the Project Manager in developing forward-looking fashion industry insights.
Support relationship management: Support the Project Manager in maintaining stakeholder relationships (e.g. scheduling meetings, drafting agendas, preparing presentations, on-call support). Be the main point of contact for specific research topics.
Written content development: Support the Project Manager in preparing succinct and engaging internal and external documents.
Contribute to team engagement Actively engage in team activities and work collaboratively with both the Fashion team and wider Foundation teams.
Professional or Academic experience: Degree in a business, economics, or science field. 1+ years of professional work experience or a Master’s in a related topic. Experience in the fashion industry is advantageous but not required.
Organisational skills: Effective prioritisation and clear on the aims, outcomes and timelines of a piece of work.
Communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Problem-solving abilities: Detail-oriented and methodical in actioning tasks with the analytical skills to structure and solve problems and summarise the information gathered.

Salary package: circa £26k plus generous holiday allowance (25 days plus discretionary extra days leave) generous parental leave; enhanced pension options/private health scheme after 6 months; wellbeing programme.
