Storytelling has the power to fundamentally change the conversation.
We will work with our new Network Strategic Partner WaterBear — a free streaming platform and publisher that brings inspiration and action together — to create impactful stories designed to accelerate the global transition to a circular economycircular economyA systems solution framework that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution. It is based on three principles, driven by design: eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials (at their highest value), and regenerate nature..
Together, we have launched a channel on the WaterBear platform dedicated to the circular economy. Called Full Circle, it features stories about different ways of moving towards a circular economy and demonstrates innovative solutions that already exist across a range of sectors and industries.
We will also collaborate on a series of original films, social media content, and events.
The aim of the collaboration is to inspire, inform, entertain, and reach new audiences — galvanising the collective imagination and increasing the momentum towards a circular economy.
“We believe in radical collaboration and the power of storytelling to accelerate the circular economy. Brands have a fundamental role to play in this, and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation is not only the leading voice in this space, but also provides the conduit to major institutions, cities, policymakers, and other key agents of change. We look forward to spearheading the creation of stories together that tap into the hearts and minds of audiences across the world.” Sam Sutaria, CEO, WaterBear
“Inspiring and compelling storytelling has the power to fundamentally change the conversation and help create the context for business and policy innovation to thrive. We are delighted to welcome WaterBear to our Network as a Strategic Partner — together, we will create impactful stories that demonstrate the circular economy is a big idea, one that can transform our economy, tackle global challenges including climate change and pollution, and regenerate nature.” Andrew Morlet, CEO, Ellen MacArthur Foundation
