Over the months of June, July and August 2020, Emma Hislop, a multidisciplinary artist from Glasgow and the Foundation’s first-ever Artist in Residence, has had the difficult task to unearth the connections that exist between art and the circular economycircular economyA systems solution framework that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution. It is based on three principles, driven by design: eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials (at their highest value), and regenerate nature.. In this episode, we hear what Emma has been working on during her residency and also what is next for her and the artist in residence programme.
