Our recently published set of five Universal circular economycircular economyA systems solution framework that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution. It is based on three principles, driven by design: eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials (at their highest value), and regenerate nature. policy goals will enable governments to benefit from the circular economy as they pursue a resilient recovery from the COVID-19 crisis that offers solutions to key global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. These are the highlights of the discussion panel that was streamed live on our channels on 2nd February. The session was moderated by Eline Schaart (POLITICO Europe) and we were joined by Steven Schonberger (World Bank), Roberta Dessi (Inter IKEA Group), and Miranda Schnitger (Ellen MacArthur Foundation) to discuss the importance of building sub-national, national, and international policy alignment to scale the transition.
