The next generation will play an integral role in leading the transition to a circular economycircular economyA systems solution framework that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution. It is based on three principles, driven by design: eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials (at their highest value), and regenerate nature..
Our learning team has been busy at COP26, working with organisations including community initiative After the Pandemic, creative educators Daydream Believers, and the LEGO Group to engage young people on the circular economy and climate change — inspiring them to redesign our economy to make things better for people and the planet.
We’ve teamed up with the LEGO Group to run a series of Build the Change workshops with local schoolchildren at Strathclyde University — encouraging them to reimagine and redesign derelict spaces for nature, businesses and communities to thrive — and hold a circular fashion challenge with Daydream Believers.
