From the very outset of our work at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, collaboration has been identified as one of the key building blocks required to drive the circular economy transition.
Working closely with our Network of Members, Partners and Strategic Partners, we aim to drive demonstration through projects with the potential to have a significant impact on how materials are used in the economy. To ensure system-level change, these collaborations must be replicable or scalable, and must bring together different stakeholder groups (public, private, higher education etc.).

To support this level of ambition, we provide thought leadership, circular economycircular economyA systems solution framework that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution. It is based on three principles, driven by design: eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials (at their highest value), and regenerate nature. expertise, a clear vision, and data-backed insights, as well as access to best practices across the globe. We also support demonstration projects by convening diverse stakeholders and amplifying communications at the global level.
The digital community platform is the main mechanism for our Network to foster collaboration, enable knowledge exchange and access to circular economy insights.
