ACR+ supports capacity building of local and regional authorities via:
Expertise exchange opportunities (events, webinars) between cities and regions;
Gathering, production and dissemination of knowledge on material resource management and circular economy (newsletters, technical publications including benchmarking, methodological guidance, case studies and factsheets);
Support to projects and visibility opportunities highlighting good practices and concrete cooperation.
ACR+ addresses diverse areas, like operational instruments (measuring material resources performances on diverse flows and sectors like construction, food, municipal waste and mixed fractions), awareness-raising (as coordinator of the European Week for Waste Reduction), legal and economic instruments (EPR, circular procurement, etc.), cooperation and capacity building (expertise exchanges on diverse topics like integrated solid waste management, innovation in resource management, tourism, sports events, etc.).
