In June 2020, we hosted the inaugural, virtual Big Food Workshop. Bringing together a diverse group of organisations from around the world, the Big Food Workshop gave space for everyone to share, learn, and take orchestrated action for positive food system transformation.
The Food initiative hosted a series of thematic sessions for our network of food system stakeholders. Together, we explored how a circular economycircular economyA systems solution framework that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution. It is based on three principles, driven by design: eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials (at their highest value), and regenerate nature. can harness the full potential of food systems which allow people and the environment to thrive.
Share your feedback on the Big Food Workshop and help us to create the content, resources, and tools that will accelerate the transition to a circular economy for food, and enable food system stakeholders to take action.
